Welcome to Symmetry Pilates. Please take a moment to read through this document as it highlights the important policies and requests for the studio to make your experience as smooth and clear as possible.
❖ Registration and Health questionnaire:
Participants must register for the classes and fill in the health questionnaire before joining a class. If you have already done so, it is important to inform me of any changes to make the necessary amendments to your file.
❖ Health and Safety:
You are responsible for your own health and safety during your class. If you have a medical condition or injury, it is your responsibility to check with your doctor that you able to join the class first.
While the instructor will assist you and guide you through a safe session, it is your responsibility to let them know if you have a concern in the session.
❖ Class availability:
Drop-in and Group mat packages are subject to availability and may be booked in advance online or via email confirmation.
Private 1:1 packages are subject to availability and can be booked in via email. Availability is subject to instructor availability and can vary week to week.
❖ Bookings and Payment:
Our online booking system works by showing you the availability and price of classes on the date and time selected. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have made the correct booking and payment. You can change bookings online or via email without an additional booking charge.
Please note that the package expiry periods are stated clearly on the website and will be adhered to.
If we need to cancel a class that you have booked, we will contact you via email or telephone and offer you a choice of: returning class to your package(credit) or transfer you to alternative date and time.
Payments will be processed with your credit or debit card automatically after you have selected your classes. You will be asked to enter in your payment details. Please note the price is non-refundable unless you’ve cancelled your booking within the 24hr cancellation policy. All prices are final and credits are non-refundable. However, you may transfer credits to a friend. Please contact sam@symmetrypilates.co.uk if you wish to do this within the 24hr period before the class.
❖ Cancellation and refunds:
Cancellations should be made at least 24 hrs before the session to receive a full refund or credit. Late cancellations or no-shows will mean you will be charged the normal session fee.
Refunds or credits will NOT be provided for missed sessions.
❖ Attire and Equipment:
Please can we request that you wear clean socks in the studio. This is to ensure that cleanliness and hygiene standards at the studio are upheld. Grip socks are recommended.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that allows full range of motion.
Equipment should be placed back where you found it at the end of the session or as instructed by the teacher.
❖ Liability and Release:
While we to try to provide a space for safe and appropriate exercises, participants acknowledge that exercise involves risks and agree to participate at their own risk.
Symmetry Pilates and its staff are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur during or a result of the session.
Advice provided by instructors at no time constitutes medical advice in substitute for advice provided by a medical professional.
❖ Updates and changes:
Symmetry Pilates reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions as needed.
